The Kruger Gate Hotel is located in the Greater Kruger Conservancy, right at the Paul Kruger Gate and on the banks of the iconic Sabie River. The lodge-style hotel, famed for its soaring wooden walkways and treetop ambiance, uniquely offers classic Big 5 safaris in the Kruger National Park with all the comforts of an upmarket 4-star hotel experience.

The hotel is set in a tranquil riverine woodland of immense African trees and rich birdlife, with uninterrupted views over the Sabie riverbed into the world-famous Kruger National Park. There is a range of elegant accommodation from Deluxe to Family rooms, and from Luxury suites to our Nkanyi presidential suite. With refined Africa-inspired décor, all rooms have ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, free wi-fi and in-room dining.

The refurbished facilities comprise of four fully equipped event rooms – and more than 200 square meters of event space, while the lodge-style 4-star hotel caters for up to 255 guests. There is also various alternative accommodation options in lodges and guest houses in close proximity to the hotel.

All people staying inside the Kruger Park have to pay the daily conservation levy, unless you have a WildCard.

Please note the Kruger Park gates close at 18:00 in October. Special arrangements will have to be made with SANPARKS for late entry on Friday (21:00) and Saturday (22:00) night after the functions. There will be an additional cost for this, which can also be paid with your accommodation booking.
